September 2008

In August 2008 Madame Tutli-Putli wins the grand prize at the 1st annual International Animated Films Festival ANIMATOR/2008 in Poznan, Poland.

In September 2008 Tutli-Putli wins the Golden Nica for animation and visual effects at the ARS ELECTRONICA festival in Linz, Austria. Directors Lavis and Szczerbowski share the award with artist Jason Walker, creator of Tutli-Putli's special visual effects.

"The White Circus", a feature screenplay by Clyde Henry Productions and produced by the National Film Board of Canada, is one of five scripts chosen for the prestigious Sundance Screenwriters Lab, a script workshop held at the Sundance Institute in Utah. For more info on the labs, click here.

Clyde Henry Productions are proud to announce the world premiere of "Madame Tutli-Putli", a 17 minute animation produced by the National Film Board of Canada, at the International Critic's Week in Cannes, France, May 17-25 2007. More information is available at www.nfb.ca/tutliputli.

The National Film Board of Canada and Clyde Henry Productions are developing a feature film project entitled "The White Circus, a Christmas at the Cabaret Voltaire", an innovative hybrid of live action and animation inspired by the art of the Dadaists.

Momentum Theatre and writer Jean Frederic Messier are collaborating with Clyde Henry Productions on an epic fantasy, "The Siege of Quebec" a 6 part television mini-series presenting a mythological pre-history of Canada.

Shadowshows, filmmaker Bruce MacDonald's production company, is in discussions with Clyde Henry Productions to collaborate on a film adaptation of Chester Brown's "Ed the Happy Clown".

"The Forest Gnome", a short film directed by Erik Harju and produced by Clyde Henry Productions, has been included in the extras of Bruce MacDonald's newly released DVD version of Highway 61.
